Clean Memphis has divided the city into zones - largely based on zip-codes - to create partnerships between residents, businesses, churches and schools to focus on litter and blight.

The Clean Leader will work with the Project Coordinator to identify areas most in need and also recruit volunteers, within those designated areas, to assist in the clean-up process.

Rather than a one-time event, Clean Memphis will hold quarterly events to maintain those levels as well as providing painting and other support to enhance our city's appeal.

Our goal is to promote accountability for residents, businesses, churches, etc... within each area. An "Adopt and Area" philosophy.

Clean Memphis provides Service-Learning/Community Service Projects for youth in their neighborhoods. Our goal is to create a sense of stewardship and civic pride.
