Mark Lovell, President – Board President –  is a well known show promoter with over 20 years experience in event production (Sports and Boat Shows, Outdoor Festivals and Fairs) locally and nationally and has a strong international business background. He is active in community and regional events.  In 2007, he created the Delta Fair and Music Festival, which has become a premier event in the Mid-South.  Mark is the founder of Clean Memphis and he is thrilled to see his vision for a Clean Memphis becoming a reality.

Darrin Hillis, Vice President – Originally from Chicago, Darrin is a musician and has been involved with organizing and promoting events throughout the country.  Darrin is a founding member of Clean Memphis and is passionate about making Memphis a clean city.  Darrin also promotes environmental stewardship through music.

Suzanne Allen, Treasurer -  Suzanne is a CPA (inactive) and is retired after careers in public accounting, as a law firm administrator, and as a property tax representative with Evans & Petree.  She currently is actively involved with Clean Memphis, the Women’s Foundation of Greater Memphis and the Memphis Area Master Gardeners Association.  She is an avid supporter of the Meeman Center for Lifelong Learning at Rhodes College and enjoys painting, needlework, jewelry making, reading, and cooking.  She is married to Walter Allen, a commercial eal estate appraiser, and they have four grown sons.

Janet Boscarino, Executive Director and Secretary – Janet has 18 years experience in business development, sales and   public relations. She has developed markets around the country for companies such as First Tennessee Bank and Goldman-Sachs. Her emphasis on recruiting and collaboration combined with her passion for the issue make her a driving force behind the Clean Memphis Organization.  Janet is a founding member of Clean Memphis and has been involved with numerous volunteer organizations over the years. She holds a BA in Journalism/Communications from the University of Memphis.

Shante Avant, Board Member – Her professional career has been dedicated to helping women and children, which includes serving as Assistant Executive Director for Girl Scouts of the Mid-South. and prior to that, Director of Programs for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis.  Currently, she serves as Director of Grants and Programs with the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis.  She also serves on the MPACT Memphis, Past Chair, Young Women Philanthropists, Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance (TECTA), Leadership Academy Fellows Advisory Committee. Other affiliations include Memphis Connect Advisory Board, and Memphis Urban League Young Professionals. Ms Avant is always striving to improve her commitment to her community and her work.  She also holds earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

Sridhar Sunkara, Board Member - Sridhar is Director of Information Systems at Downtown Memphis Development Commission.  He is an active member in the community and helps nonprofit organizations and start ups with their technology strategies and roadmaps. Sridhar is a founding member of Launch Memphis, an organization to grow the city’s entrepreneurial community.  He serves on the boards of Healthy Memphis Common Table and Launch Memphis.  Sridhar holds a Master’s degree in City and Urban Planning from the University of Memphis.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Diploma in Computers from universities in India.
