At one time Memphis was voted the cleanest city in the country.
A recent survey has listed our city as one of the dirtiest. Additionally, a recent article in the Commercial Appeal out-lines several reasons why Memphis is losing population growth and has been unable to attract top executives to our city as compared to other regional cities like Atlanta, Charlotte and Nashville. The Reasons? Largely Crime and Grime.
Clean Memphis strongly believes that a cleaner city will help to reduce crime, promote a sense of pride in our community and cultivate economic prosperity.
