Frontdoor volunteers at the Vance Avenue Youth Development Center
Making connections is one of our favorite things here at Clean Memphis. We love connecting people to neighborhoods, beautification projects, and their environment. Our work is fueled by volunteers from our corporate partners, and this month we are highlighting one of our new partners, Frontdoor Inc.
Frontdoor, formerly American Home Shield, hosted Good Day 2019 on October 4. During this company-wide day of service, employees had an opportunity to give back to the Memphis community, and we were honored to connect them to one of our amazing community partners, Vance Avenue Youth Development Center. This organization provides a safe place for youth to receive tutoring, mentoring, and a healthy meal. Frontdoor volunteers repainted the interior of the learning center for the youth, providing a much needed facelift for the facility.
The volunteers didn’t stop there, though. After learning more about the vital services they provide to the community every day, Frontdoor is committed to an ongoing relationship with the center for donations and staff volunteering. Thank you, Frontdoor, for caring about your Memphis neighbors.
