The Clean Memphis team is growing! After talking to anyone who would listen about her dreams for a more sustainable food system in Memphis, Heidi Rupke came on board as our Program Consultant for Project Green Fork in September.
With experience as a teacher, parent, event coordinator and conscientious eater, Heidi hopes to create a stronger network of sustainability-minded food and beverage establishments in Memphis. She developed relationships in the restaurant and sustainability worlds through her work as a feature writer for Edible Memphis, where her pieces focus on the environmental impact of eating and contributions of immigrants to Memphis cuisine.
